A few tips for making the most of your holster

• Choose a holster that fits your weapon perfectly. Some holsters fit several different firearms. Your holster must match the weapon perfectly, and the weapon should slide along the guide rail. The draw must be smooth and free of snagging.
• Make sure the holster is securely attached and stable. A poorly attached holster may fall or slip, making carrying a firearm dangerous. Be vigilant and check that the hardware used to attach the holster (belt loop, buckle, mount, strap) is correctly adjusted.
• Always engage the safety before stowing your weapon. When you put your firearm back in its holster, always make sure the safety catch is engaged first. Likewise, if your holster has a retention system, it must be locked.
