Which tactical vest accessories are essential for airsoft?

All the accessories mentioned above are available with attachment via the Molle system (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) or by strap, which provides lightweight, modular load carriage. This way, everyone can fit their vest with all the accessories they want.

The magazine pouch
Choose a magazine pouch that is compatible with all handgun magazines. Bear in mind that the replica weapons used in airsoft are built around a system called “spring” and an AEG system. The “spring” corresponds to a manual, spring-powered weapon. AEG, which stands for Automatic Electric Gun, fires the BBs from the magazine thanks to the built-in electric motor.

The long gun magazine pouch
It is important to make sure your airsoft weapon fits into the pocket of the magazine pouch. Long guns are notably fitted with scopes to refine target acquisition. Rifle scopes can be added to players’ equipment on replica weapons if the base weapon does not have one.

Tactical vest accessories in airsoft: an essential option!

Which tactical vest should you choose?
Don’t have a tactical vest yet? First of all, you should know that tactical vests are worn in several contexts:

The tactical intervention vest with the Molle system is considered the best type of vest. It is stable and suits everyone thanks to its adjustability and modularity. It has the advantage of featuring a large number of accessory pouches at the front and the back. The distribution of the pouches, and therefore of the weight, gives it welcome stability. Generally, a black or military vest is recommended for optimal camouflage and discretion in combat.
A reminder: what exactly is airsoft?
As a reminder, airsoft is quite simply a team game in which players use replica firearms that shoot plastic BBs. It is these BBs that set airsoft apart from paintball. Paintball balls are made of gelatin, whereas airsoft BBs are made of plastic.
These weapons are replicas of real firearms, but they are built with completely different mechanisms. Most often, the spring system or the BlowBack system is used to fire the BBs. These mechanisms allow short-range shooting from 20 to 30 meters maximum. The goal of the airsoft game is to eliminate all your opponents in combat. Airsoft is therefore a recreation of a battlefield, and it is essential that each soldier-player has all the appropriate gear at their disposal, in particular a tactical vest.
